Accountex Accounting Services Partners With Female Founders Pitch Summit
SAN DIEGO — Accountex Accounting Services has joined the movement to change how venture capital is funded by agreeing to sponsor the first Female Founders Pitch Summit.
FFPS will take place May 21, 2021, at the Bayfront Hilton Hotel and change lives forever. The goal of the summit is to get more women entrepreneurs funded and make venture capitalists change their current funding strategies to consider women business owners more often. Currently, less than 3 percent of women entrepreneurs are funded by institutional investors.
Rose Vitale, founder of the FFPS, announced last week that Accountex will help make this earth-shattering event happen by providing necessary money for expenses. FFPS will prove to be unlike any other summit or conference in this space because sponsors and Vitale’s personal finances would cover the cost of putting this event together. Unlike similar events, organizers are not asking for money from investors or founders to attend. They also do not require an equity stake in the event. In addition, the event is not like others because of the amount of money involved, millions instead of $50,000. Accountex is supporting the mission, vision and goals, Vitale said.
“We are different from anything out there right now,” Vitale said. “We want our sponsor partners, such as Accountex, to understand our vision and be a part of the movement for change. We need all those involved to be on board with us.”
